Dr. Mike Haworth

Dr. Mike Haworth

Dr. Haworth earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida.

At home, Dr. Haworth enjoys life with his wife, son, two dogs, two cats, and a collection of tropical fish.

An outdoor enthusiast, he spends his free time sailing, fishing, participating in endurance sports, and pursuing nearly any activity involving a bicycle. Recently, he began volunteering with the Special Olympics, helping athletes compete in local races by serving as a race guide.

Dr. Hunter Barnes

Dr. Hunter Barnes, DVM

Dr. Barnes is originally from Tampa, Florida, and has always felt a strong connection to animals. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences at the University of Florida, where she went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2024.

Her lifelong passion for animals began in childhood, when she spent countless hours riding and competitively showing her horse, Buckley. That early bond inspired her career path and continues to shape the way she cares for her patients today.

Dr. Nicole Mayne

Dr. Nicole Mayne

Dr. Mayne has extensive surgery training and travels to us for orthopedic and specialized soft tissue surgery.

With a special fondness for the operating room, she is dedicated to continuously enhancing her surgical expertise. Her skillset includes a broad range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, such as fracture repairs and TPLOs.

Committed to global veterinary development, she has interned with Veterinarians Without Borders, contributing to wildlife conservation efforts in Laos. She also volunteers annually with World Vets, participating in various initiatives throughout Central and South America.
