Veterinary Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic imaging tool that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of your pet’s internal structures. At The Heights Veterinary Clinic, we use ultrasound to evaluate the abdomen, monitor pregnancies, assess organ function, detect masses, identify fluid accumulation, and guide needle aspirates or biopsies when necessary. Ultrasound allows for precise, timely evaluation with minimal stress to your pet, and in most cases, does not require sedation. Our goal is to use accurate diagnostic methods like ultrasound to support efficient diagnosis and treatment planning for your pet.

Veterinary Radiology

Our hospital is equipped with the latest advanced digital imaging technology. This technology allows us to take high quality images in a rapid and efficient manner. Digital radiology is used to take images of your pet’s thorax, abdomen, and musculoskeletal structures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of medical conditions. If deemed necessary, the digital images can be sent to a board certified radiologist for review and further medical recommendations.
