Waleska – Veterinary Technician

Waleska is a compassionate and driven Veterinary Technician with a heartfelt journey into the field of veterinary medicine. Waleska moved to Tampa in 2022, bringing with her a deep passion for animals and their well-being. Initially pursuing a degree in Engineering, she realized her true calling was working with animals. 

Her journey began five years ago, starting as a client service representative in an animal emergency setting before advancing to roles in boarding, assisting, and finally veterinary technology. 

With a professional interest in surgery, treatment, and appointments, Waleska takes pride in providing empathetic care to pets. She believes animals connect deeply with us, even without words, and considers it her purpose in life to help them feel loved and understood. Her favorite aspect of working at The Heights Veterinary Clinic is the work-life balance and the strong connections she forms with her patients and their families. 

A talented artist, Waleska enjoys digital art, painting, traveling, music, and attending concerts in her free time. Her love for creativity matches her commitment to becoming a veterinarian one day—a dream she's pursuing with unwavering determination.
